John Langlois quoted in "USAToday"
We spoke for over an hour. The bright, energetic reporter seemed truly interested in why people would go to the trouble and expense to acquire un-processed milk.
She reduced our conversation to the following quote,
While I applaud the notice that nutrient density received via USAToday's
look at raw milk, I was disappointed that the comments from the government
did not receive more scrutiny. For example, several bacterial outbreaks
associated with raw milk were noted, but none of the outbreaks from pasteurized
milk were mentioned. They
are exponentially higher.
The reporter was incorrect in stating that those who purchase
raw milk are breaking the law. It has never been illegal to purchase it.
The problem comes upon the poor farmer who sells it.
The reporter would have benefited with a follow-up article that addressed the politics of all of this.
How is it that the government permits the sale of cigarettes and the inclusion of known carcinogens in processed food, but forbids many Americans the right to even choose whether to consume unadulterated milk?
By the way, here's Cole at age 7, holding his new brother, Aidan.

Notice the nicely developing jaw line and vibrancy.
